It’s time to clear out your wardrobe, bag up your unwanted clothes and take them to your local charity shop

You may have seen Chic to Street’s post on the rise of fashionable charity shops in which we unveiled the thrifty items you can find in charity shops in Cardiff.

Well now it’s time for us to make our own contribution to these charity shops by biting the dust of those mothballs in our wardrobe and have a clear out.

The start of a new year is a time to start afresh, tackling those New Year’s resolutions which may be to get fit or travel more.

But here at Chic to Street we think it’s time to give your wardrobe a new lease of life. And #thriftythursday is hashtag on Twitter so what better day to be thrifty than Thursday!

A wardrobe clear out is the perfect chance to get rid of all your unwanted items and give them to charity. A clear out can not only become someone else’s thrifty fashion buy but can leave you feeling more positive, knowing that you’ve done a good deed by donating to charity.
